GOVERNANCE
The shareholders of the Microfinance Support Centre Ltd are the Minister of Finance Planning and Economic Development, Minister for General Duties - Office of the Prime Minister and the Minister of State- Finance, Planning and Economic Development - Microfinance

OVERSIGHT
MSC is under the direct supervision of the Ministry of Finance, Planning & Economic Development. It provides the policy framework for the provision of rural financial services.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The MSC Board is appointed by the Minister of Finance of Finance Planning and Economic Planning Economic Development and approved by the shareholders. MSC Board of Directors provide oversight role on behalf of the Ministry of Finance Planning and Economic Development and monitors the general performance of the Company. The Board is also responsible for developing policies for the company.

MANAGEMENT AND SUPERVISION
MSC is headed by the Chief Executive Office/ Executive Director supported by six heads of departments. This forms the Senior Management Team. The Senior Management Team is responsible for the operations of the company. The departments include; Legal, Credit and Operations, Finance, Internal Audit, Business Development Services and Human Resource

The Microfinance Support Centre Limited (MSC) is Government owned company under the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic Development. MSC has a dual mandate to provide affordable credit and business development services to microfinance and other registered business organizations. MSC's overall goal is to increase the incomes at household level. MSC loan terms are affordable with no added costs such as insurance, processing fees, management/monitoring and inflation adjustment.

To facilitate access to affordable Financial Services and strengthen management capacities of Microfinance Institutions and SMEs.
