Monitoring

Monitoring

MSC has put in place a mechanism for continuous monitoring of the program. This includes regular visits by MSC and its stakeholders to the various beneficiary SACCOs, carried out joint monitoring with other stakeholders. Further, MSC receives regular monitoring reports from DCOs, CDOs, YASPED and MSC regional Offices. A team of Client Relationship Advisors who interact on a continuous basis with the clients has also been created.

As a result, MSC is able to receive and provide feedback to the clients as well as resolve complaints and address inquiries in real time. The monitoring reveals impressive progress in savings mobilization. As at 30th June 2021, Emyooga SACCOs had mobilised a tune of Ushs 27BN in savings in addition to the seed capital received.  Overall, increased capacities have been observed in terms of record keeping, credit management systems, existence of Boards, disbursement and better utilisation of seed capital by the borrowers. Savings and share capital have also been increasing.

MSC continues to capture progress from the various Emyooga SACCOs and disseminate the reports to stakeholders including the public through the various media houses. These are being aired through media channels i.e, TV stations, Newspapers, radio stations, and online.

MSC will continue to monitor the beneficiary SACCOs and parish-based Associations and has developed and deployed an electronic M&E system to support in the collection and reporting on the performance of Emyooga SACCOs.
